Do you know your agent?
Probably not, most agents like to keep their personal life separate from their business life. The problem with that approach is that you the customer are affected by our personal lives, backgrounds and circumstances of life.

You’re disclosing a lot about your desires, your circumstance, your family, your needs, your dreams and your goals. You can bet that I need to know all that if I am going to do the job that you need me to do. So, you deserve to know something about me.

I appreciate the good things and value the lessons from the not so good in life:

  • I was born they tell me in San Bernadino, California to a single struggling mom who wanted more for me than she could give.
  • I was subsequently adopted by the greatest mom and dad on earth, but one day when I was five my dad died in a tragic trucking accident in Missouri .
  • I fortunately have dozens of adopted great relatives who pitched in to help.
  • I was raised in a rural area south and west of Springfield,  Missouri so there is a little country in me.
  • For the first several years of my life, I wanted nothing more than to have a family and home of my own.
Together we are what they call a blended family with 8 children ages from  10  to 33. Our youngest is my first biological child and the only blood relative I personally have ever met. Can you imagine how much she means to me!

For the past 10 years we have served in the ministry as founders of a non-profit ministry called the Gracious Promise Foundation 1995-2000 and as pastors of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Vista California 2001-2005.

In the summer of 2005, we set sail for home so that John could pursue a doctorate in ministry degree and so that I could further my real estate experience that I gained in the fast paced and competitive southern California market a little closer to friends and family.

We are currently active members of the College Church of the Nazarene with friends or family in dozens of other denominational and non denominational churches or parishes. We may return to a local pastorate, but we have agreed that my career will continue so we can support the ministries of our choice and the possibility of an eventual retirement!

I enjoy a successful second career as a Mary-Kay consultant. It all started so as to save money on products. What I learned is that people care about themselves and they look for products that help. I happen to think Mary Kay is the best.

Beyond that I have two adorable Shih-Tsu’s.  I have responsibility for my daughters small  not so adorable painted shell crabs, fish, a black jeep commander, a great Olathe home and dozens of professional partners to help me be the success you need me to be.

Oh yes, my mom is still the greatest mom on earth. She spends nearly every dollar she makes (cutting hair) on her only granddaughter-Megan Elizabeth Campbell.
